Message From The Principal

I take this opportunity to welcome you all to Chepalungu Technical Training Institute(CHETTI). CHETTI is a TVET middle level tertiary institution which offers a variety of market-oriented Technology, hospitality and Business oriented courses. The Institute is registered with the Ministry of Education- State department of technical training through Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).

Chepalungu TTI opened its doors to public January, 2021 when it admitted the first cohort of trainees. It is located within Chebunyo township in the western side of Bomet County, 1.2km from Chebunyo town on Chebunyo - Kiproroget road. The institute is in a serene environment, away from urban activities and very suitable for learning. The institution offers a variety of carefully selected TVET courses whose aim is to produce skilled graduates ready to work in industry or be self-employed in line with our motto; ‘scaling the heights of innovation’.

Courses offered up to diploma level are majorly Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Computerized Secretarial, Tourism Management, Building Technology, Food and Beverage, ICT, General Agriculture, Plumbing, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy, Human Resource Management, Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy, and Social Work and Community Development.

The Institute offers the immediate community with relevant training and technological interventions in order to better their standard of living. We look forward to walking a journey together in transforming the nation and the world though TVET.
