Examinations Office
The Institute's Examination Office is mandated to coordinate the administration,supervision and management of all examinations both external and internal. The office ensures that the conduct of external examination is beyond reproach and the quality of internal examinations is unquestionable so as to promote the mental health of the students, develop their academic potential and nurture them to be analytical thinkers as they prepare for the external examinations. Internal examinations comprise of; Assignments, Continuous Assessment Tests (CATS), end of term and end of stage examinations e.t.c.

External examinations are those offered by external examining bodies at the end of every module. About 90% of our programmes are externally examined. The Institute engages highly recognized examination bodies. Currently, our programmes are examined by the following examining bodies:

KNEC – Kenya National Examinations Council. KASNEB – Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board. NITA – National Industrial Training Authority.

In order to prepare our students well, the Institute's Examination Office is committed to ensure that the institution provides quality examinations that continually meets and exceeds customer expectations through effective setting and moderation procedures. To achieve this we commit to: 1. Continually assess, review and improve our internal processes to ensure that the quality of the examinations meet the customers’ requirements. 2. Liaise with the top management to provide adequate resources for effective examinations. 3. Comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements in discharging our mandate. 4. To increase customer satisfaction level by improving service delivery. 5. To bring on board more examination bodies both external and local.

Thus, Once they report in February 2021, pioneer students will be expected to sit for their KNEC EXAMS in November 2021. Subsequently, other series will be sat by candidates as will be set by KNEC. There will also be assessment exams administered by the trainers from time to time and as recommended by the Management.
